I'll probably give them up for you, including panginoon in exchange for the title :
"the CGP Loverboy"! (les wag kang kokontra!)
Taken na kasi ang "Pogi" eh.
I'll return the stage now to our mods
Hahahaha aba di naman ako kumokontra kuya...mas okay yan...

Re: Complaints
I'll forego the complaint which is none really.
My suggestion is for the CG challenges and photography contests -
1. If possible, no moderators, members or anyone connected to CGP will act as judges.
2. I would suggest getting the real experts in the field to act as judges. and international kung pwede. Get Vlado or Chenqinfeng or Oliver Campaigne for CG, it can be also be a Filipino such as the caliber of Sonny Sy of Lucas, or Arch't Paulo Alcazaren for the bahay kubo of the future, etc etc. In www.raph.com the judges are profiled and real experts in the industry. That's why it is very difficult to get your work featured there - but if you do get featured it is a very much prized accomplishment.
3. I am not suggesting this to downplay or question our current judges. But again there is no transparency and whether we like it or not, there is always the danger of being biased. In any competition I believe that the only way to really determine quality (and thereby push the participants' envelopes) is to get judges who are not within the circle and most importantly, real experts in their field, whether they may be CG, photography, or 2D graphics. Of course they will only be there to prequalify the entries.. I still totally agree with the community voting system as the final tally. How much percentage depends on the mods.
The point of getting real experts is to really level the playing field. So that all members will be judged purely based on the merits of their work, and nothing else.

Re: Complaints
good point bro mushroom, we try to work that out, lalo na yung CG judges. That's my dream too.
about sa bahay kubo, our judge is of paulo's caliber. I can't profile him as of the moment kasi makikisuyo lang ako. Baby steps palang kasi tayo til now para walng mablanko na buwan. In time, we'll have this very organized. thanks bro.

suggestion ko me botohan pa din like what is being done now. pero sa dulo na. mala american idol. pero ang qualification round, base sa pipiliin ng judges. it all depends on what the mods think is best

Re: Complaints
It's really good if the judge who would pick the top entries are not from the forum. So, there will be n o biased choice. Then the members can vote or pick their choice among the entries selected by the judges.

Re: Complaints
Mga sirs why is it puro arki-related works lang ang nalalagay sa banner? This is CGPinoy, not just "arkipinoy" diba? Maraming ibang artists ang more deserving ma-feature yun works like JeffMD (who won comicon challenge and unearthly), cgdigi and others, who are great assets to this community. Sana yun community would stand to its name.
